Chixiang Chen is an assistant professor of biostatistics at the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health, University of Maryland, School of Medicine. Most of his researches focus on developing statistical methodology in data/information integration within studies and across studies, causal machine learning, deconvolution and single-cell data analysis, model selection, among others. Previously he was a postdoctoral fellow at Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics, working with Mingyao Li and Li-san Wang (2020-2021). He obtained his Ph.D. in Biostatistics at Pennsylvania State University under the supervision of Rongling Wu and Ming Wang (2017-2020).

He have broad interests in both methodology development and statistical application in multidisciplinary areas, including clinical trials, observational studies, genomic studies, etc. Please also visit his research team at UMB: https://www.umdbright.com/
