Jiahao Wang is currently an undergraduate researcher under the guidance of Professor Liangliang Zhang in the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. He is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics at East China Normal University and was also a visiting student at the University of California, Berkeley.

Jiahao’s research focuses on statistical inference for compositional data in microbiome studies. Beyond microbiome data analysis, his broader research interests include developing and applying advanced statistical methodologies to address real-world challenges, particularly in association studies, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making.
